MER: To bring in more firms for ILP

MER plans to increase the number of participants under the interruptible load program (ILP), a measure which could help mitigate the power shortage next year. The company is currently in active discussions with several companies which could contribute a combined capacity of 71 MW. Aside from private companies, MER has also identified several government establishments which could cumulatively generate an additional 79 MW.
